Settlement in a Class Action against Kavey Hufsha LTD.

The class action was filed on the grounds that the Company used to sell tickets for charter flights, while aware that that the flights would not leave at the scheduled time, without informing the customers ■ The Honorable Judge Shoshana Almagor: "There is a reasonable possibility that the defendant has misled its customers".

In a settlement agreement that was approved by the Tel Aviv District Court, in a class action filed by our firm, it was agreed that Kavey Hufsha LTD. would provide its customers with discounts and benefits worth a total of NIS 2 million. The plaintiff argued that Kavey Hufsha LTD. used to sell tickets for charter flights marketed thereby, the takeoff and landing times mentioned on which were fictitious, while the Company was aware that those flights were not scheduled to take off at the advertised times.
