A heated hearing at the District Court in the derivative claim handled by our firm against Discount Investment Company for the acquisition of the Ma’ariv newspaper

During a heated hearing that was held yesterday at the District Court, it became clear that the directors of the Discount Investments Company, who were sued for the purchase of “Ma’ariv”, made a deal with the mediator, Judge Hila Gerstel, behind the backs of the attorneys who filed the claim, Adv. Ronen Adini and Ram Dekel. According to the agreement, the directors will pay the Company NIS 100 million, however Adv. Adini and Dekel believe that the settlement is not good enough.
