Our Firm Handles the Derivative Claim for the Bezeq-Yes Transaction

The Honorable Judge Ruth Ronen: "We cannot carry on with the current proceedings without first asking the Israeli Securities Authority for its position, as there is a criminal investigation, and it is unclear whether there is a connection between the criminal procedure and this one"

In light of the criminal procedure which is taking place at the same time as the derivative claim against Bezeq, senior executives at Bezeq will not be called to testify at this time, as per Judge Ruth’s ruling. “Like everyone else, I read the papers, and we cannot carry on with the current proceedings without first asking the Israeli Securities Authority for its position, as there is a criminal investigation, and it is unclear whether there is a connection between the criminal procedure and this one.”

In light of their objection to the Bezeq-Yes Transaction, Adv. Ronen Adini recently appealed to the court and asked to invite the director Rami Numkin and the deputy CEO and former CFO of Bezeq, Dudu Mizrahi, to testify in the derivative claim he filed against of Bezeq which, over the past two years, has been heard in the Tel Aviv District Court (The Economic Division).
