Our Firm’s Tremendous Achievement: The Court Approves the Settlement in the Case Against the directors at Discount Investment Company for the Failed Ma’ariv Transaction: Directors to Pay NIS 100 Million

The District Court (Central) approved the settlement in the derivative claim filed by Ronen Adini &. Co. against DIC’s officers and directors who authorized the acquisition of Maariv. This transaction has caused tremendous losses to DIC, estimated at approx. NIS 400 million. The District Court approved the derivative claim and decreed that the DIC directors were negligent and reckless when they approved the transaction of acquiring the Ma'ariv newspaper without any inspection and without examining all aspects of the transaction, which caused tremendous losses to the Company.
